Cumbernauld Theatre grew up along with the new town of Cumbernauld and is the artistic and cultural heart of the community. Recent years have seen a great deal of change in the organisation, which has grown to enjoy a national and international reputation for producing quality arts experiences for a wide ranging and diverse audience through a programme of performance and workshop activity directed at a wide range of participants with particular emphasis on youth and community access.
