The Carriageworks, Leeds

The Carriageworks theatre is in a prime location on Millennium Square, The Carriageworks houses an exciting mix of plays, musicals, dance, film, exhibitions, community events and workshops.

With two theatres and six rehearsal rooms this state of the art venue is an important space for local and regional artists of varying backgrounds and abilities.

Since its opening in November 2005 The Carriageworks has been the new home for Leeds Civic Arts Guild, an umbrella organisation of approximately 15 local amateur performing groups that previously rehearsed and performed in the former Civic Theatre.
