We have 9 rooms located within the main house and a further 5 rooms (one of which is a junior suite that has an additional sofabed as well as a full kitchen) located to the rear of the property in a ‘motel-style’ layout.

Find Arlan House, Basingstoke
Arlan House is located about half way along Chequers Road and on the left hand side (it’s a one way road). We are a big white building with grey signs outside.
The car park is accessed via a driveway to the right hand side of the main house leading to the rear of the building. We also have a couple spaces directly in front of the main house.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, pre booking parking is not necessary however it is operated on a first come first serve basis. We have approximately 10 spaces on site.
Quite simply, on the day of arrival you will be sent the access codes for either a lockbox that will contain the key for your room or for the electronic room locks for you to let yourself in. If you are staying the main house you will also be sent the code for the front door.
Check in times are anytime after 4pm
Check out times are by 10am.
Earlier check in and later check out times can sometimes be arranged in advance.
We are just a stone’s throw away from the town centre. Festival Place is 150m from the front door of the hotel. Simply take a left out of the hotel, walk to the end of Chequers Road, cross the road, and Festival Place is on your right hand side and down a few steps.
Within Festival Place is a large selection of shops and restaurants.
Unfortunately we cannot supply breakfast as we do not have the facilities on site, however as we are so close to the town centre, there are many options for breakfast nearby.
Absolutely! Simply contact us in advance and we can put you into any room of your choice, subject to availability.
Yes we do. Should you wish to stay longer in our rooms then we are able to provide you with a microwave and crockery / cutlery should you also need it.
