About Bath School of Dance

Established in 1972, Bath School of Dance offers classes in classical ballet, contemporary dance and more. Based in Combe Down (Bath) and Bradford-on-Avon, the School promotes a welcoming and inclusive environment for female and male identifying dancers of all ages and abilities. Ballet classes under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus are core to our offering. We also look to provide a holistic dance experience for our students, offering bespoke classes that support RAD training with the aim of building strength, flexibility, ballet technique, versatility in dance and performance, whilst having fun. Our dance classes for adults allow us to bring the joy and healing powers of dance to adult dancers of all abilities, whether complete beginners, professionals, or rediscovering their love of dance. The School promotes physical and mental wellbeing, making friends, building confidence, discipline, self-motivation, teamwork and inspiring creativity and a love of dance.
