Mezem, literally ‘My Meze’, is a new Turkish restaurant on Henry Street in Lytham. It’s open from 10am til late, Tuesday to Sunday, with a ground level dining area and a function room above. There’s an impressive wood-fired, stone-baked pizza oven and an authentic charcoal grill which imparts maximum flavour to the food. Menu choices cover a selection of hot and cold meze plates, a range of Italian and Turkish pizzas, sharing boards, salads, steaks, burgers and Turkish grill dishes and there's a top female chef with nearly 30 years’ experience in Turkish kitchens at the helm. Everything is prepared fresh in-house, including Turkish bread and the buns for the burgers. You can enjoy Efes beer on tap as well as a range of Turkish wines and in summer the front of the restaurant opens out so you can watch the world go by on Henry Street. During the day, Mezem is open for Turkish or English breakfast, light lunches, sandwiches and wraps or you can just drop in for a coffee or a drink.
