Stayed for 2 nights from 26th April....Staff are great and location is brilliant but a few things weren't great 1. The lifts are terrible, waited 7 minutes at one stage for a lift 2. The shower in the bath is an accident waiting to happen, The bath is very high and no rubber bath mat is dangerous, ( I know you can ask reception for one, but they should be in all rooms) 3. I know it's not the hotels fault but the noise from the building next door makes sleep impossible, a generator came on at 5am and that was the end of sleeping

Like an oven

Rather disappointing. The room was far too hot to get a decent sleep. There was a small fan in the room which didn’t help much and was very loud. And the only other solution was to open a window. That worked at first but meant I was awoken abruptly by the construction work right outside the hotel at 7am.

The room does have a heating control that can be turned down however I have asked our maintenance team to check the room you stayed in in case there is an issue with that specific room. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention as the main product we offer our guests is a good night sleep and I'm sorry that we were not able to provide that for you due to the heat and the construction work outside the hotel. Exactly what I needed, great location, nice crisp linen with close proximity to amenities. Parking is a challenge and corridors & general public space smelt a bit stale.

Was charged twice despite having already paid and took sometime to sort Nd get my money back. Rooms with seperate toilet without own wash basin very dated for such an overpriced room! £514 for 2 nights without breakfast) The building site over the road makes it less than ideal for an events location in the day. I'll avoid in future.
