Danielle Boder

Principal

Danielle started her performing arts career in her early teens and was a part of several amateur dramatic companies. Danielle then went on to train as a Primary School teacher (Cert Ed, Dip LCM), as well as a teacher of Adult Education (AETC). As she developed her performing career, she had the opportunity to perform in a number of London Theatres.

During her 30 years of teaching, she was able to bring music, movement, dance, and drama to the forefront of the curriculum in the schools where she taught, and quickly became Head of the Arts in one of the schools, giving children across the year groups the opportunity of experiencing the performing arts and creative art.

Danielle originally started her Rhythm & Rhyme sessions when her children were still in Nursery - allowing the very young to engage in music and movement.

After a headship of 22 years, with two consecutive Ofsted ratings of 'Outstanding', Danielle decided to go back to her roots to offer her years of expertise and experience to the new generation of performers and artists - and thus, OB1 Theatre School and Art Club A was founded.

Hannah Carnac

Multidisciplinary Teacher

Hannah is an actor, singer and Musical Theatre Teacher. Born and raised in Harrow, Hannah has been involved in theatre since the age of 10, starting out in the Watford Drama Festivals and attending MX Masterclass throughout her teens as well as performing at West End Live in 2017.

Coming from a family of music teachers, Hannah started teaching at the age of 15 assisting her mother in music theory lessons before starting up as a private singing teacher.

Hannah studied at the London School of Musical Theatre where she graduated. She has lots of experience working with children and is currently working with over 100 students a week, helping them gain confidence in singing, acting and dancing!

As a professional performer, Hannah has worked around the globe and can often be seen around London in various cabaret venues.

Jennifer Long

Multidisciplinary Teacher

Growing up in Guernsey, in the Channel Islands Jenny developed a passion for singing, dancing and acting from a young age, and participated in a variety of festivals and youth theatre productions. She also volunted at the drama and dance school she attended as a child.Jenny graduated from The Urdang Academy, achieving a first class degree in Professional Musical Theatre and Dance.During her training, she choreographed musicals and directed a short play, and most recently worked closely with the Musical Director of Urdang’s Spring Awakening as Vocal Captain.Jenny currently works as an actor and as a Nursery music teacher.Jenny is thrilled to be joining the team

Michal Boder

Early Years & Junior Drama Teaching Assistant

Michal is an Early Years Teacher with a background in performing arts. She works in a school that gained two consecutive ratings of Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.

Michal attended various performing arts schools, eventually bringing her knowledge to OB1 Theatre School where she assists in the Earl Years and drama classes.

Brooke Leppard

Student Assistant

Brooke has always had a passion for musical theatre and performing arts, she has trained in many dance styles and performed in many amateur theatre productions. Brooke has performed in the Pantomime at the Radlett Centre. She studied history, dance and drama at GCSE’s and is now studying dance, criminology and psychology at A Levels.As well as musical theatre, Brooke also enjoys playing the piano and playing sports. She hopes to go on to study musical theatre after A Levels and have a career in the performing industry.Brooke currently supports the Munchkins and YMT classes.

Tia Lamley-Grinstead

Multidisciplinary Teacher

Tia graduated from The Urdang Theatre Arts with a degree in Musical Theatre.Tia's love of performing arts began when she was very young, she absolutely loved performing on stage. Over the years Tia had many roles including, skylar in ‘bring it on’, tiger little in ‘Peter pan’, Lydia in ‘beetlejuice’ and as a senior dancer in her local pantomime for 6 years!Tia has a wealth of knowledge in the arts and also enjoys learning behind the scenes knowledge, along the way.Apart from teaching Musical Theatre in various schools, Tia has also undertaken the role of assistant dance captain as well as Chaperone duties at numerous Theatres.
