Coconut Bar & Kitchen is one of the most popular restaurants in Reading. We are playground of exotic flavours, tantalising tastes and lush libations.

An open and airy space of galvanised metal surfaces, pipework across the ceilings and hanging light bulbs makes our fine establishment an urban edge accented by warm amber glows. Perhaps the definition of industrial chic, Coconut Bar & Kitchen fuses exquisite eats with stunning drinks crafted at our long bar, perfect for lounging at for some tailored tipples and snacking sensations. 

Oriental foods and Pan Asian cuisines unite in our kitchen of fresh flavours, vibrant ingredients and creative cooking. 

You'll find all manner Asian goodies here with Japanese Katsu Curry, Malaysian Rice Noodles, Spicy Singapore Vermicelli and Korean Bibimbap offerings. Your senses will truly be ignited here. Stand, sit, drink, dine, lunch or light bites - whatever the occasion, Coconut Bar & Kitchen can suit.

At Coconut Bar & Restaurant we pride ourselves on giving you an exciting range of promotions every day of the week. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights we have a live DJ and promise it to be an electric night out; whether you have a large group celebrating hen or stag parties, birthdays or an intimate date night, we cater for all occasions. During the day you can look forward to a more relaxed and laid back vibe. We also have plenty of seating space for business and corporate meetings, over a coffee or a quick lunch with clients or colleagues. 

We are based in the heart of Reading town centre, directly opposite the Broad Street Shopping Mall, close to The Oracle Shopping centre, Reading’s local theatre, The Hexagon and only 5 minutes’ walk from the main train station.

Our extensive menu offers some of the finest Asian cuisine that can be found around South East Asia; from Thailand, Korea, China and Japan. We have a great variety of tasty and vibrant dishes. All dishes are made fresh to order. If you enjoy Asian food with a fusion, you have found the right pace. If you prefer a bit of a kick in your food, and like it to be hot and spicy, we can offer you the Shanghai spice option, which is one of the worlds hottest chilli’s, chopped fresh in our kitchen for your dish. 

Our Chefs have widespread knowledge and experience that brings you these mouth-watering dishes. Whether you join us for some quick nibbles and drinks or want to delve into our main menu.

All our food is prepared and cooked on the premises by our expert chefs. We have a range of daily specials reflecting the season and availability of the best ingredients around.

We hope that you will notice with all your senses the freshness and quality of every ingredient we put into our products from our garnishes and vegetables to our meats and sauces and soup bases. They taste and look different and better because they are.
