Sir Stelios, the Foundation and Leonard Cheshire would like to congratulate Cedric on winning the Stelios Award's 1st prize of £100,000 at the 16th Disabled Entrepreneur Awards.
After sustaining a spinal injury in 2021 that left him paralysed from the chest down, Cedric’s resilience has driven him to continue growing Brigit’s Bakery. In 2024 we introduced our first wheelchair-friendly afternoon tea bus to the fleet and Ced plans to use the prize money to further enhance experiences for disabled people.
