About Jamon Jamon Soho

The word Jamon, pronounced “yamon”, means ham in Spanish, and if there is one thing the Spanish are crazy about, it is good Jamon.

The first restaurant at 38 Parkway was opened in the 1950s , known as George and Nicky’s. In 2001, the restaurant changed hands and building work began to convert the premises and make them suitable for a tapas bar.The word Jamon, pronounced “yamon”, means ham in Spanish, and if there is one thing the Spanish are crazy about, it is good Jamon. In Spain, Jamons are traditionally made in local family farmhouses.
