The O2 Academy Liverpool (formerly the Carling Academy Liverpool) is a music venue run by the Academy Music Group. The main building consists of 2 performance areas. The main room can hold 1,200 people while a smaller room can hold 500. There are also 5 bars in the building.
When concerts and gigs are not running, the Academy plays host to regular club nights to suit all musical tastes.
