Madhubani Art - A Celebration of Nature @ Harrow Arts Centre

Transforming the Greenhill Art Pod into a vibrant visual sanctuary, artist Harsha Basu brings the ancient Indian tradition of Madhubani art to the busy high street. 

Historically practised by women to express individuality, this intricate folk art is reimagined through Harsha's contemporary, hand-painted works on authentic khadi cotton paper. Rooted in the philosophy of mindfulness, her practice turns repetitive symbolic patterns into a soulful, empowering energy.

 Blending a background in literature and illustration, Harsha’s story-led artwork celebrates the "beauty of imperfection." This striking display invites passers by to pause their daily rush and find a moment of quiet connection.
