Featuring music by Hank Williams, Orange Juice, Etta James, Moondog and Johann Sebastian Bach and performed by five actor-musicians, We Will Hear the Angels is a poignant and uplifting exploration of melancholy through words, movement and music.

Stunned by the revelation of her husband’s infidelity, Bea feels heartbroken and alone. If only she knew her neighbours Sonia, Van and Ian, were also trying to get over the pain in their hearts, unable to articulate how they feel. Maybe the mysterious Lou can help them?

A unique meditation on universal heartbreak, the production reflects on the strange comfort and redemptive power we find in sad music when we need it most.
