The Marlowe Theatre - Canterbury
The Marlowe is a 1200 seat theatre which underwent major redevelopment in 2008.
Shows includes plays, major West End musicals, ballet, dance, opera, stand-up, orchestral concerts, music gigs and pantomine, which are from both one off, and regular visiting companies.
Gulbenkian Theatre - Canterbury
Gulbenkian houses a 340 seat theatre, 300 seat cinema and a café which incorporates an informal cabaret style space for live music, comedy and slam poetry. We programme over 1,000 events including music, comedy, theatre, dance and film per year, enjoyed by more than 100,000 people.
Broome Park - Canterbury
The historical Broome Park Estate was established during the reign of Charles I and has, as its centrepiece, a magnificent Grade 1 listed Mansion House. The house was completed around 1638 and is one of the finest examples of Carolean architecture in England. The House has been refurbished to its former glory and boasts as one of its many previous owners - Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener of Khartoum.
