The Derby Theatre delivers high quality drama to audiences along with music, pantomime and many more productions. Previously known as Derby Playhouse, a new partnership with the University of Derby and an Arts Council England funding award now means Derby Theatre has transformed from a traditional producing house to an organisation of training, mentorship and artistic excellence.

The Guildhall Theatre is located on the Market Place in Derby city centre. It is one of the area's leading entertainment venues, having a year round programme of Arts and Entertainment events, including orchestra, comedy, rock and pop events, an annual pantomime, dance, drama and children's shows. It also offers space for a range of events and conferences.
The Venue in Derby is a 150 to 500 capacity live music venue situated in the heart of the City Centre. The Venue hosts quality music acts all year round, from up and coming bands to well-known established bands and everything in between and is a big supporter of local live music.
The Hairy Dog in Derby is a favourite port of call on the UK touring circuit and has become home to Derby's alternative culture. Hosts live gigs in the 400 capacity venue room, with an impressive new stage, p.a lighting rig and bar. This area of the venue is now all on ground level to make access easier.
There is also a refurbished second stage upstairs with its own bar and dressing room, p.a lighting rig and new lower level stage.This is an 80 capacity space.
The Flower Pot in Derby hosts live gigs and acts most nights of the week. Serves quality real ales in Derby's true free house and top live venue.
