Hull City Hall - Hull
Hull City Hall presents a kaleidoscope of first rate events, making it Hull’s most versatile venue. It showcases some of the finest rock, pop, comedy and tribute bands. Local choirs and societies hold their annual concerts and Hull University and the University of Lincoln hold their annual graduation ceremonies here As part of the Hull City Hall’s cultural diversity it hosts an International Orchestral concert season drawing major British and European Orchestras.
Hull New Theatre - Hull
The Hull New Theatre is a theatre in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It opened in 1939 as a successor to the Hull Repertory Theatre Company. A huge £15.9m revamp of the venue has now been completed. There are major improvements to backstage areas including a new fly tower, used for scenery, lighting and stage effects. These improvements will allow the theatre to stage bigger, more ambitious shows, in line with its reputation as one of the leading touring theatres in the UK. There are also more seats, a new cafe/restaurant, two new bars and an extra space which can be used as a performance area or for business, private hire or community use.
Hull Truck Theatre - Hull
The Hull Truck Theatre is located in Kingston upon Hull, and produces high quality drama productions. It also tours its productions on a regular basis. The Theatre was founded in 1971 by actor Mike Bradwell.
