Tara Theatre creates innovative, politically charged theatre harnessing the power of co-creation. Their work explores the complexities of our world through a South Asian lens, championing South Asian voices and artists, identifying new narratives, new ideas and new forms.

Tara Theatre is a contemporary and democratic space, a home for its community of artists and audiences.

Tara Theatre is located in Wandsworth and was the first Asian, Black and ethnically diverse led theatre company in the UK. Tara Arts has delivered numerous world class productions, working with a range of partners, from the grassroots to cultural powerhouses.
