The Playhouse Theatre is a London West End theatre near Trafalgar Square. In 1951 it was taken over by the BBC and used as a recording studio for live performances and has hosted huge names from KISS, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and The Beatles.
It returned to being a theatre after a hiatus and has been home to J.B Priestley’s An Inspector Calls, Richard Eyre’s Olivier Award-winning Vincent in Brixton, and more recently La Cage Aux Follies.
