Queen's Theatre

The Queen’s Theatre is located on Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End and twin to the neighbouring Gielgud Theatre. In 1940 a German bomb hit the building and destroyed the theatre. It remained closed until restoration almost 20 years later. Since then, the venue has hosted some brilliant shows from RSC’s The Taming of the Shrew and The Rocky Horror Show. Les Miserables celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Queen’s Theatre in 2005 and overtook Cats as the longest-running musical of all time. Book tickets to Les Miserables and find out why it’s a much-loved favourite to over 70 million people.

Shows

No babes in arms. Young children are admitted but not encouraged unless the parent is confident that the child is old enough to be attentive to the performance and not a distraction for other members of the audience. Everyone must have a valid ticket and occupy a seat. Accompanying adults will be asked to remove any noisy infants.
