The Book of Mormon returns to Manchester in December 2021

Smash hit musical The Book of Mormon have announced today that they will return to Manchester next year. The Musical brought to us by the creators of South Park is set to perform once again at Manchester's Palace Theatre from December 2021 until January 2022!

Written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, together with Avenue Q's Robert Lopez, the story follows two missionaries sent from their home in Salt Lake City to preach the Mormon religion to a remote Ugandan village. The two young men find a notable lack of interest from the villagers, who have bigger things to deal with - such as famine, AIDS, and warfare.

It debuted in 2011 and immediately won itself a flurry of Tony Awards, which recognises excellence in live Broadway theatre, including best musical, best original score, and best direction.

The comedy musical received rave reviews during it's 2019 Manchester run and sold out night after night. The show has been labelled "the funniest musical ever" by Vogue magazine and "tuneful and very funny" by the New York Post.

The Book of Mormon will return to the Palace Theatre between December 7 2021 and January 2 2022.

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow, the 16th December!
