The Gin Chronicles: A Scottish Adventure @ The Questors Theatre

If you enjoyed The Goon Show, Monty Python or the works of P.G.Wodehouse, it is entirely rational that you would enjoy “The Gin Chronicles: A Scottish Adventure”. Vintage, radio-style comedy adventures that pick you up and take you into a world of mischief, mayhem, live sound effects and 1940s derring-do that’ll have you leaving with a great big smile on your face. John Jobling is an endearing upper-class half-wit who stumbles across amateur detection as a pastime. Doris Golightly is his erstwhile housemaid who ends up being his assistant in order to stop him from wandering into ridiculous situations, with mixed results. In this adventure, they seek to thwart a nazi plot to steal all of the country’s juniper berries and, by extension, deny this Sceptred Isle its gin supply (GASP!)
