Sam Hill is perfectly ordinary. Tonight, however, his life becomes anything but dull.

He has the great misfortune of catching our devilish narrator's attention and finds himself implicated in a string of brutal murders - all while trapped in one block of flats. A killer is on the loose, and all evidence points to Sam. Alongside the girl-next-door, Lucy, he must outrun his murderous reputation, dodge the police, peculiar neighbours, and face the deadliest creature in the animal kingdom: cats.
