Somerset House - What's On
When leaving please consider our neighbours and leave Somerset House quietly. Summer Series gigs: Doors 19.30. No cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices. No re-admission. Body and bag searches may be made at entrance and unsuitable items confiscated. Patrons cannot bring bottles, cans, glass or alcohol into the venue. There is no fixed seating in the courtyard - standing only. There will be licensed bars available onsite, cash and card payments are accepted. Fernandez & Wells café and bar, located in Somerset House's East Wing, will be serving a limited selection of their daily food offer. Film4 Summer Screen: Doors 18.30, DJ from 19.00, Film starts approximately 21.00. Entrance to double bill is restricted to the film of highest certification. Where a film is uncertificated, entry is to over 18’s only. Seating: there is no fixed seating in the courtyard - bring your own rugs, blankets, backrests and cushions. Sorry, no chairs or portable furniture, including inflatable chairs! Blankets and cushions can be purchased on site from £10. Picnics welcome, but no glass or bottles are allowed into the courtyard. Cans are limited to two per person. The courtyard bars are cash only during film season. Weather: Summer Series & Film4 Summer Screen are open air and go ahead come rain or shine - so come prepared! The audience area is not covered.
There is no age restriction for the Summer Series. We advise that under 14's are accompanied by an adult. Entry to films and events is restricted by the classification given by the British Board of Film Classification or others. We are required to refuse admission to anyone who is below the minimum age required by the relevant classification. Due to the nature of the event children under the age of 4 including babies are not permitted to attend.
