The Boot is a 17th century Coaching Inn in the historic village of Repton Derbyshire. Dating back to 1649 it is thought The Boot s original owner was a cobbler who hung an old boot outside the premises to let everyone know what he did and where he was and whilst mending footwear would offer customers ale and hospitality.
