Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ravi Shankar’s birth in a day of interactive music workshops and performances for primary schools.
The day is made up of engaging, fun musical sessions, introducing pupils to the music and musical elements of Ravi Shankar’s work and beyond.
Pupils have the opportunity to build on skills such as performing, improvising, composing, listening to and understanding music.
Drawing on the art and artists involved in Southbank Centre’s Shankar 100 series, pupils dive deep in a series of artist-led workshops and performances throughout the day.
